Newborns newborns newborns

I have had four newborn sessions in the last month. It has been a lot of fun. They were all sweet and cute as can be. They ranged in size from 4 pounds to almost 10. These are some of my favorite shots from these sessions.

Think Pink Photography

I recently had the opportunity to go to a Faces of Courage camp here in the Tampa Bay area and I did 31 mini-sessions for breast cancer survivors. It was a wonderful camp full of wonderful women. I met so many fantastic women and heard so many amazing stories of their battles w/ cancer. Here a few shots from that day. Please check out www.thinkpinkphotograpy.org to find out more about this wonderful charity organization.

Newborn

I recently had the pleasure of photographing one of the cutest newborns. She was so sweet and tiny. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the shoot. I will add more as I edit more too.

I recently had a maternity session in my hometown. It was a lot of fun. She has two sweet daughters and was expecting her first son, who is now here. I had taken her sister's maternity portraits a few months ago. We were planning on an indoor/outdoor session but mother nature had other plans. So we were limited to indoor only. I love outdoor natural light photography but what can you do? Here are a few from my session.

Fire Station

My husband is a firefighter. He recently got assigned to a new station so we had to make a trip to the new one to check it out. My son has his own bunker gear right down to the boots. The kids had a blast climbing on the trucks and playing firefighter with daddy. My children have grown up in fire stations. They are their second home.

Sunflowers

I love love love sunflowers. Anyone who has been to my house knows this. My entire kitchen is full of sunflowers. I even had sunflowers in my wedding bouquet. Well there is a farm south of us that usually grows strawberries and in the off season they plant sunflowers to keep the soil ready for the strawberries. I had the opportunity to go there this summer. My plan was to take pictures of my kids and my friend's kids but the sun was too high and they were not digging it. They were complaining that it was hot and there were bugs (which there were tons of bugs!)

Here are some of the pictures I got of the sunflowers that did not complain and actually stood still long enough for me to focus. :)

Girls at University of Tampa

My college roommate and her husband have two girls, ages 3 and 1. I have taken their pictures four times in the last year. I recently took their pictures at the University of Tampa and we had a great time. They are so easy to photograph. They are both very happy and love having fun which is the way I like to capture children.
